Welcome to the home of the Severn Athletic Club Youth Sports Association. We are always seeking new volunteers to assist with coaching and to be a part of the many programs that help to keep the organization on track throughout the season. If you are an enthusiastic, self motivated and creative individual with a kid first attitude we are looking for you. We normally employ more than 50 volunteers throughout the season and would love for you to be a part of our program.
All volunteers must complete a background check to be eligible for any volunteering in our program. We provide mentor sessions for our coaches that covers everything from discussions on knowledge of their sport or activity to sessions on conflict resolution. All our volunteers are welcome to attend all sessions, but they also receive similar training based on the area of volunteering they decide to pursue. Coaching opportunities will depend on the number of athletes in the program.
